Be a MealMaker

Every day, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC works to build food-secure, healthy communities alongside 500 partner food assistance programs serving 18 Northwest North Carolina counties. When you become a Meal Maker, you entrust Second Harvest to direct your gifts to where they are needed most.

Second Harvest has volunteer opportunities nearly every day.

 

Whether you choose to help in the Community Meals kitchen packing up trays for children and seniors; inspect donations in the warehouse; catch rays and tend beds in the Fitzgerald Teaching Garden (seasonally); or help out in the office, you’ll be part of a community of people working together to feed hope, health, and opportunity...because everyone deserves to eat.
